Dear Wooden Boat Enthusiast,

Thank you for your interest in the Runabout Renaissance video series. Wooden pleasure boating has been an interest of mine from my experiences of growing up on the banks of the St. Clair River in Algonac, Michigan, a location which produced more wooden pleasure boats than anywhere else in the world, thanks in large part to the Chris Craft Corporation. Algonac is also known as the "Speedboat Capital of the World", thanks to the Gold Cup racing legend Gar Wood, whom was also known for making fine wooden pleasure craft in the area.

The production of both videos ties my interest with my profession as a video and multi-media producer. Both Runabout Renaissance programs have aired on Public Television (PBS) throughout the country, primarily on Michigan Public Television.

These videos are available directly through the producer by check, money order, PayPal or credit card through PayPal. For more information, or for a free catalog, please contact David Irvine, Video-Craft, Inc. (Contact information can be found on the Contact Us page).
