fair and more trouble. The first difficulty was in getting to the train station.
It seems everybody except Dexter and Thelma themselves had some kind of mechanical
difficulty, but their backcountry resourcefulness proved the equal of their problems.
The train ride was far from eventful, with shadowy figures stalking them and
a blockade on the tracks. When they finally made it to the fair, they met
their host and chaperone Olga, who treated them all with aloof disdain except
for when Dexter and Thelma. The strange accidents and appearances of shadowy
figurers continue through out the fair. Nothing they couldn't handle until
members of their gang started disappearing. Everybody regained consciousness
in the basement of the Hotel, where their guide and guardian Olga revealed her
true colors, not to mention the evil plot to steal their experiments and use
them as weapons against the free world. The only, thing keeping our intrepid
heroes alive at this point is the villain's complete ignorance as to what the
experiments actually do. Failing to get anything intelligible out of the gang,
they leave them to contemplate a time bomb in their midst. Naturally our
heroes escape their bonds and chase Olga & henchmen to the roof where they
encounter the mastermind behind this stupid scheme, none other than Principle
Melwinkle! (you may now register shock and surprise). Cliff makes good use of
the football shaped time bomb and destroying the Helicopter, the experiments
and of course, Melwinkle. Certain that no one could have survived that, they
all engaged in a big group hug...
