- Each porcelain vessel
is hand thrown on the potter's wheel or constructed by hand soley
by Tom. He decorates each piece with glazes of his own design
while the clay is still wet in order to achieve watercolor-like
surfaces. Most of the forms are functional and all are food-safe.
The pieces are fired to over 2400 degrees in his gas kilns. Since
each piece is individually thrown shapes and surface patterns
will vary.
- His designs are inspired
by intimate landscapes and impressions of deep woodlands.
